Exchange Policy

Diya Eternal Jewels is committed to providing customers with genuine, quality jewellery and transparent service. This Exchange Policy applies to gold and diamond jewellery purchased directly from Diya Eternal Jewels.

1. Eligibility for Exchange

Customers may request an exchange subject to the following conditions:

  • The jewellery must be accompanied by the original invoice/bill and applicable certificate(s).

  • The jewellery must be in its original condition and must not have been altered, resized, repaired, engraved, damaged or modified by any third party.

  • The jewellery must be presented for physical inspection and verification by Diya Eternal Jewels.

  • The product must satisfy the applicable quality, purity and authenticity checks.

  • Exchange requests must be made within 30 days from the date of purchase, unless a different period is specifically mentioned on the invoice.

2. Gold Jewellery Exchange

For eligible gold jewellery, the exchange value will be calculated based on the applicable gold rate and the verified net gold weight at the time of exchange, subject to the applicable deductions.

Making charges, taxes and other applicable charges paid on the original purchase may not be refundable and may be deducted from the exchange value.

3. Diamond Jewellery Exchange

For diamond jewellery, the exchange value will depend on:

  • Verified gold value;

  • Verified diamond/precious-stone value;

  • Condition of the jewellery;

  • Applicable deductions;

  • Original invoice and certification;

  • Current valuation determined by Diya Eternal Jewels.

Diamond jewellery exchange value may differ from the original purchase price.

4. Customised Jewellery

Custom-made, personalised, engraved or specially commissioned jewellery may not be eligible for exchange unless specifically agreed in writing at the time of purchase.

5. Damaged or Altered Jewellery

Jewellery that has been damaged, improperly maintained, resized, repaired or altered by an unauthorised third party may be refused for exchange or may be subject to additional deductions.

6. Exchange Against Another Product

Where an exchange is approved, the customer may select another eligible product. If the new product has a higher value, the customer shall pay the difference.

If the new product has a lower value, the balance amount will be dealt with according to the applicable exchange terms communicated by Diya Eternal Jewels.

7. Verification

Diya Eternal Jewels reserves the right to conduct appropriate checks relating to purity, weight, stones, certification and authenticity before approving an exchange.

8. Taxes

Taxes and statutory charges shall be handled in accordance with applicable law and the nature of the transaction.

9. Final Approval

All exchanges are subject to verification and approval by Diya Eternal Jewels. The final exchange value determined after inspection shall be communicated to the customer before the transaction is completed.
